the brief
The assignment was a school project to redesign an existing website into a mobile application for a fountain guide in Basel. The goal was to transform static information into an intuitive and engaging digital experience, making it easier for users to explore and discover fountains throughout the city.
the process
This began with thorough research and analysis of the existing website. Content structure, usability issues, and user needs were evaluated to identify opportunities for improvement.
Wireframes and visual concepts explored different approaches to presenting information in a simplified and engaging way. Special attention was given to map integration and location-based interactions.
the conclusion
The final outcome was an interactive prototype. It demonstrates how the redesigned experience improves usability and encourages users to actively explore the fountains of Basel.
